Since the acquisition of WhatsApp by Facebook, the app has brought various new significant features including support for audio calling. Today is another big day as the app has now enabled support for document sharing. The feature will be of extreme use for students and professionals. They will now be able to share important documents on the go.
The feature is currently only for PDF files. However, more options will be coming quite soon. To use this feature, all you need is to update your WhatsApp to the latest version. Now, simply tap on the attachment icon at the top left and tap the new ‘Document’ option. Afterwards, you can attach your PDF from file manager. Users can also select documents from cloud storage services including Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive and others. Both sender and recipient are required to update to the latest version for document sharing.
