Unilever Pakistan is back with internship programme for the ongoing year 2016. The multinational company initiated its operations in Pakistan back in 1948. It has now got offices in major cities of Pakistan i.e. Multan, Sukkur, Faisalabad, Islamabad and Lahore. The head office of Unilever Pakistan is in Karachi.

Unilever Pakistan offers internships to capable students. The firm gives hands-on experience enabling selected interns to get practical knowledge of working of a global company. Students that have either completed their graduate program or are in 2^nd last year of study of their degree can apply for this program. The company offers internships in following business areas:

• Brands (Marketing)
• Supply Chain
• Customer Development (Sales)
• Finance
• Human Resource (HR)

The duration of the programme is from 6 to 8 weeks. It is a summer internship programme that will begin in June or July. Here are official words from Anika Kazi, Marketing on this year’s internship programme:

The best thing about interning at a place like Unilever is that you get to work on projects which bear significance to the business instead of the routine tasks that interns are usually assigned to elsewhere. It was a great opportunity for me to get hands on experience of the way things function here.
