Telenor Youth Forum 2016 Registrations Now Open

Telenor Youth Forum (TYF) is a platform for the talented youth of age between 20 and 28 living in Pakistan to enhance their skills by working with the teams of the 13 different markets to solve the social problems. The forum is formed in partnership with Nobel Peace Center. Telenor Youth Forum 2016 is a year-long commitment that commences in Oslo, from December 8-11, 2016 and is structured to join the Nobel Peace Prize festivities.

Telenor Youth Forum 2016 vision is the youngsters that have always been the future of every country and have the capacity to make it a worth living place. The basic purpose behind this forum is to look towards to innovative and creative hardworking youth. The forum encourages talented youth to come forward and show their thoughts that use the technology as an integral element in the formula for global tranquility.

The function – ‘Digitalizing for Peace’ – which is partnered with the Nobel Peace Center promotes peacefulness, providing a target to achieve with a platform for new minds with ideas and enthusiasm, to meet and discuss the problems that subject most for the peace nowadays.

The young participants in Telenor Youth Forum 2016 will work in the form of groups on the given tasks, trying to make engagement, cognizance, understanding and finally the peace in the society. The program is designed to proceed this welfare in the way that the team members will meet in May 2017 again, in Bangkok. The rewards of their hard-work, passion & commitment to the program will get exhibited in the digital exhibition in collaboration with Nobel Peace Center in fall 2017.

Telenor Youth Forum 2016 participants spend twelve months with their teams to perform on the task strategies. Physically they meet twice in the whole program and otherwise communicate virtually when they are at their home countries.

Eligibility Criteria for Telenor Youth Forum 2016:

Following are the aspects that you need to consider to participate in the program:

  • Age Limit between 20 to 28 years
  • Proficient in English
  • A resident of either country: Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Denmark, Hungary, India, Malaysia, Montenegro, Myanmar, Norway, Pakistan, Serbia, Sweden, Thailand;
  • Have a vision about social, economic and/or environmental revolution in community with some experience
  • Completed higher education or a current university student
  • Someone having innovative ideas and enthusiasm to make them true
