Samsung launches the budget phone Galaxy J2

Samsung’s recently released Galaxy J5 and J7 have achieved quite success. The handsets features midrange specs at affordable price. Now, Samsung has launched a budget phone for its J series. Galaxy J2 is the latest handset of the series introduced for price-conscious users.

Samsung Galaxy J2 handset features 4.7-inches AMOLED display. This display size is very commonly used in old devices and is common in low-end flagships. It comes with a resolution of 960*540 pixels. The dimensions of the handset are 136 x 69 x 8.3 mm. The design is similar to the budget handsets of Samsung. However, there is addition of metallic touch and faux leather to give it a premium feel. The handset is equipped with an Exynos 3475 chipset consisting of four cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. It is powered by 1 GB RAM. The primary camera is a 5 MP while the front one is 2 MP. The internal storage is 8 GB that is expandable via SDcard. The phone comes with a 2,000 mAh battery.

Another highlight of Galaxy J2 handset is dual-4G support. It means you can enjoy fastest internet on both the SIMs. It also features a special Ultra Data Saving Mode powered by Opera Max.

Samsung Galaxy J2 handset will be made available in black, white and gold color options. It will be available for only $125. The handset will get released in few days. Considering its price and target customers, the handset will surely made debut in Pakistan too. We can expect its price to be under Rs. 15,000 in Pakistan.
