Ozair Belal, a student from PAF KIET, secures 2nd position in Microsoft Student Partner Insider Program

Once again, a Pakistani student has earned fame for his country in IT sector. Ozair Belal, a student from PAF KIET (Karachi), has secured 2nd position worldwide in Microsoft Student Partner Insider Program. Microsoft Student Partner is the representative of Microsoft in his respective campus/university. Indeed, a great achievement by the young student!

In Pakistan, Microsoft Student Partner are selected every year from all the major universities under Developer Experience and Evangelism Group of Microsoft. Ozair Belal was selected in the program back in 2012. During his three years as MSP, he has performed his duties actively. He arranged various seminars and training sessions on Microsoft technologies in his university. Not only this, he collaborated with other MSPs to launch programs effectively in their universities.

On his great performance, he has earned various products from Microsoft for free. It includes access to developers devices, technical mentorship, MSDN subscription, Azure access and technical support. He was selected as MSP Group President for South Region (Balochistan and Sindh) in April 2015. He was also invited to attend the Microsoft Student Partner Worldwide Summit 2015 to represent Pakistan. He was awarded a Microsoft band on getting 2nd position.

Through Microsoft Student Partner Insider Program, the partners get to learn the skills of Microsoft latest technology. They offer special training sessions and organize workshops to enable students to master in product-specific skills not typically taught in academia. The program is designed to increase awareness of Microsoft products, programs and initiatives. This is not the only student partner program that Microsoft offers. The company also offers its products and services free of cost to students in various countries through DreamSpark and BizSpark.
