Oppo Pakistan introduces R7 Plus, R7 Lite and Mirror 5

Last week, Oppo Pakistan revealed its three powerful handsets in a grand event at Lahore. The launch event included fashion show and the spectacular 3D holographic projection for uncovering the smartphones. The launch event was attended by celebrities, bloggers and media channels from all across Pakistan. Oppo unveiled one high-end handset i.e. Oppo R7 Plus and two mid-end ones i.e. R7 Lite and Mirror 5.

Oppo R7 Plus:

Oppo R7 is a high-end phablet having 6-inches 1080p AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset and 3 GB RAM. It is paired with a quality 13 MP primary camera and 8 MP front sensor. It includes a massive 4,100 mAh battery to power the display and processor. The handset has been priced at around $499 internationally. Oppo Pakistan has announced its price to be Rs. 39,990 in Pakistan making it the lowest priced market for R7 Plus.

Oppo R7 Lite:

Oppo-R7-Lite-handset

It is the younger sibling of the R7 Plus handset. Priced at 10k less, Oppo R7 Lite features the same octa-core Snapdragon chipset, 13 MP back camera and 8 MP front one. However, the display is 5-inches 720p and its RAM is 2 MP. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It packs in significantly smaller battery than that in R7 Plus. The battery is only 2,320 mAh that is definitely not good enough in our views.

The last one is Oppo Mirror 5 which is priced the lowest i.e. Rs. 29,000. It includes a 5-inches 540p IPS display. There is no Corning Glass protection. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset and 2 GB RAM. The primary camera is 8 MP while the front one is 5 MP. It packs in 2,420 mAh battery, slightly better than R7 Lite. The handset costs around 1k less than of R7 Lite, but you are forgoing quite much for this.

Mr. Long Gang, CEO of Oppo Pakistan, in his keywords said that they will see a new after’s today event. Oppo Pakistan is going to revamp its distribution policies and promotions that would be more localized.
