Mah-e-Meer to get released on 6th November 2015

For the movie lovers, another classical master piece is coming soon all the way in Pakistani cinemas. This new Pakistani movie is none other than a bygone and poetical movie Mah-e-Meer known as POORA CHAND. Prominent name Miraqsm media presents a Pakistani movie by our legend Sermad Sehabi and directed by Anjum Shehzad.

The movie is motivated by the work of Mir Taqi Mir and it circulates on the life of Meer Taqi Meer, the first traditional master of Urdu poetry in our modern cinema industry. Mah-e-Meer meaning the wanton moon is a story that will spin around the scrap put forward by a modern contemporary poet and will showcase the imperative turning events of his life. All the poetry lovers and non-lovers will see Meer at odds with the royal court, shimmering his romance with a lady, his idea to bring back the Urdu poetry in streets and displaying his eternal fondness with the full moon throughout.

The film will feature Manzar Sehbai as Dr Kareem, Fahad Mustafa as the lead role Jamal, Iman Ali as Mahtab, Sanam Saeed as Naina Kanwal and Aly Khan as Nawab Sahab.

The official trailer of the film, produced by Badar Ikram and Khurram Shahzad could be seen showcasing the passion of Meer Taqi Meer through Fahad Mustafa, who is already a heart thud these days due to his show Jeeto Pakistan and the gorgeous Iman Ali seeking our attention. The movie has five songs spun in the script. These are written by proficient writer and director Sarmad Sehbai. This will be his filmic premiere for sure.

The overall duration of the film is 120 minutes and the film is going through its post-production stage. According to the producers of the movie, it will be released on 6th November 2015.

All poetry lovers are well aware that poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion. But, of course, only those who have emotions know what it means to want to escape from these things.
