Huawei is all set to launch its next big gun in Pakistan. After its successful introduction in CES 2016 followed by global launch in Dubai, Huawei Mate 8 will be making its way to Pakistani market on 31st January. The launch event full of glamour and thrill is scheduled to take place in Karachi. It will be attended by dozens of celebrities and other guests.
Huawei Mate 8 comes with 6-inches HD IPS display with 1080p resolution. The device is equipped with Huawei’s own HiSilicon Kirin 950 chipset. The device comes in two variants i.e. one with 32 GB Internal store having 3 GB RAM and other with 64 GB internal storage having 4 GB RAM. The primary camera is 16 MP while the front one is 8 MP. The sensors have been designed to deliver optimum and quality pictures. The device comes with non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery.
The device will be made available at price of Rs. 59,999 for 32 GB version and Rs. 69,999 for 64 GB version. Huawei has already begun the pre-orders of device against the initial deposit of Rs. 5,000. The customers getting to buy Mate 8 through pre-orders will be entitled to gifts including Bluetooth speakers, cash vouchers of Rs. 10,000 value and free passes for the Runaway Fashion Show.
Along with Mate 8, Huawei will also be launching Honor 5X i.e. a midrange phone. The device comes with 5.5-inches 1080p display running on quad-core Snapdragon 615 processor. There are two variants i.e. one with 2 GB RAM and other with 3 GB RAM. The phone has got 13 MP primary camera and 5 MP front camera. The phone has got non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery. It will be made available at price of Rs. 29,799.
Both Mate 8 and Honor 5X will be first offerings from Huawei for Pakistan in 2016. The company plans to introduce more devices in coming months.
