HEC announces University Rankings for year 2015

Higher Education Commission (HEC) has now published rankings of top Pakistani universities for year 2015. There are significant changes in the list as compared to the one for year 2014. You can find out the list for top universities for year 2014 here. Quaid-e-Azam University has earned the top spot in overall university rankings.

NUST Islamabad has retained the top slot in the ‘Engineering and Technology’ category followed by PIEAS and GIKI. For Business category, Iqra University in Karachi has made to the first place followed by Lahore School of Economics and IBA Karachi. Unbelievably, LUMS was not able to get any spot in top ten rankings.

For Agriculture/Veterinary category, University of Agriculture in Faisalabad has been listed as No. 1 with next being University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences in Lahore at No. 2. In Medical category, Aga Khan University has been rated as the best medical institute followed by University of Health Sciences in Lahore and Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi. For Arts category, National College of Arts in Lahore has secured the first rank.
