Child or adult, young or old, everyone has always loved the whimsical world of Harry Potter series profoundly. The rousing news for all the fans is that the fancy anecdote will continue on stage soon, nine years after J.K. Rowling’s last Harry Potter book was issued.

According to Pottermore, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will unveil in London’s West End this summer and for all those who will not be able to present in London for the opening, the Special Rehearsal Edition of the script book will be published instantaneously after that. The story is written by one and only J.K. Rowling in compliance with playwright Jack Thorne and theater director John Tiffany. The tale will be staged in two parts.

The story will initiate after Harry sends his kids off to Hogwarts 19 years after the happenings of the Deathly Hallows. This time you will see Harry as both a father of three school-age children and a clichéd employee of the Ministry of Magic. The play will take place on 30th July and the book will be circulated on Harry Potter’s birth date i.e. 31st July.

Now let’s talk about the startling cast which is a big debate on social media these days. Jamie Parker, currently featuring in the West End show Guys and Dolls, will showcase as an adult Harry in the production. Noma Dumezweni, who recently marched in at the last minute to replace Kim Cattrall in Linda at the Royal Court, will play Hermione Granger. London Road star Paul Thornley will conclude the trio as Ron Weasley.

J.K Rowling articulated her sentiments on her Twitter handle by saying,

I’m so excited with the choice of casting for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, I can’t wait to see Jamie, Noma and Paul bring the adult Harry, Hermione and Ron to life on stage next summer.
