Freedom 251 is the World’s Cheapest Smartphone costing $4 only

The much awaited World’s cheapest smartphone has finally made its debut in India. The phone has been manufactured by a local Indian company ‘Ringing Bells’. It is an Android based phone featuring decent specifications. It has been named as ‘Freedom 251’. In India, this handset costs 251 INR (around $4) only.

World’s cheapest smartphone Freedom 251 comes with a 4-inch display having resolution of 960*540 pixels. It is equipped with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB RAM. The device packs in 8 GB internal storage that is expandable via SDcard. That does not end here! The phone has also got nice 3.2 MP back camera and 0.3 MP front camera. The handset comes with 1,420 mAh battery. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. This makes it the most affordable phone ever.
