In a massive development, Facebook has now begun accepting Pakistani Rupees as currency for ad campaigns payments. Previously, the users in Pakistan were required to make payment in US dollars or other currencies. They were even charged a significant currency conversion fee to get their Rupees converted in other supported currency.
But now, there is no need to pay extra money!!! With Facebook supporting Pakistani Rupees, the users are going to save a lot of money that they were needed to pay under the head of currency conversion fee before. Advertisers can set Pakistani Rupees as default currency by navigating to Manage My Ads > Account Settings page.
Remember, Facebook will require you to create a new AD account to change the currency. Once you agree, all your existing ongoing campaigns will become invalid. So make sure to end all the previous campaigns before setting the new account.
On an average, a person spending Rs. 1 lac on Facebook advertisements will be able to save Rs. 8,000 to 10,000 depending on the payment method and bank they are using.
