Descon engineering firm was established back in 1977. It is a Lahore-based company. The firm initiated its operations as plant construction and services company. But now, the company serves in several sectors i.e. oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, cement, power and infrastructure. The company operates not even in Pakistan but also in Gulf states. Descon brings internship programs to provide students with an opportunity to work on real tasks/assignments and gain practical experience.

Descon offers internship programs throughout the year. It has got two types on internship programs i.e. Summer Internship Program and Year Round Internships. The later one comprises of 4-8 weeks according to the academic specialization of the internees. However, here we are going to tell you details of summer internship program.

Descon Summer Internship Program Details and How to Apply:

Also called Future Leadership Internship Program, is designed to give students practical knowledge of their respective fields. Descon offers internship in various fields including Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Finance & Accounts and others. It is a 4 week training program in the months of June, July and August. Following is the eligibility criteria for the students whom want to apply:

• Minimum CGPA of 2.5
• Enrollment in 2^nd, 3^rd or 4^th year
