Coca Cola brings its MENA scholarships programme in Pakistan

The Coca-Cola company has launched its fully funded summer entrepreneurship programme in Pakistan. The scholarships will be provided to the winners of ‘Make Tomorrow Better’ competition. The company has partnered with the US State Department to sponsor 100 university students from the Middle East, North Africa and North Asia (MENA) region.

The winners will get a chance to undergo the entrepreneurship programme at the Indiana University’s esteemed Kelley School of Business. It is one of the top ranked business programmes in the US. The programme will last for four weeks. The accelerated programme will give students an opportunity to learn about business education at one of the top institute in the world. The programme will begin in July 2016 and end in early August.

The Coca-Cola scholarships programme is available in seven countries in the MENA regions i.e. Pakistan, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia. Out of 100 scholarships, 14 will be awarded to Pakistani students. All you need is to submit a unique idea HERE. The idea should be based on making tomorrow better in your own country. The top 25 ideas with most votes will make it to the semi-finals. The jury will select 14 out of these 25 as winners. The winners will be flown to the United States and will be offered free accommodation, meals and visa expenses.

Here are the requirements you need to meet to submit an idea:

  1. You should be enrolled in a university.
  2. You should be aged between 18-24 years.
  3. You should be resident of the country with valid passport.
  4. You should have zero to limited travel experience to the United States.
