Few days back, the popular Pakistani political forum Siasat.pk got suspended by its hosting provider. The main reason behind was orders issued by FIA to force the ban on the site. When contacted, FIA laid the full responsibility on PTA but PTA denied. The website was later on restored through siasat.net URL. The admins of the site faced numerous difficulties. Many users who signed up for the forum using Facebook were unable to use the site. Earlier today, the ban on Siasat.pk is now lifted.
In a series of tweets made by Mr. Adeel Habib who manages Siasat.pk, he thanked everyone for their support and love. Here are all the tweets that he made:

Siasat.pk is considering to go in a legal inquiry to know actual reasons behind the suspension. There are no official comments made by any related government officials. But well, it seems a great news for all out there. Hopefully, all the users will soon be able to get back on their favorite forum site.
Considering the vulnerability of PK domain, Siasat.pk admins are deciding to shift their site ultimately to .net domain. They have updated their Facebook page too i.e. ‘Siasat.pk’ is now ‘Siasat.net’.
